The Contemporary Arts Center is our host for an evening reception. Cincinnati’s only museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art, the CAC focuses on recent developments in painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, performance art and new media.

CLOSING RECEPTION

The Cincinnati Art Museum welcomes conference participants for an evening reception and the conference closing plenary. Guests will have the opportunity to view the museum’s permanent collections representing artistic achievements from around the world. Areas of special strength include the only collection of ancient Nabataean art outside of Jordan, the renowned Herbert Greer French collection of old master prints, and a fine collection of European and American portrait miniatures. The Museum holds and displays many paintings from Cincinnati’s "Golden Age" (1830-1900) as well as Cincinnati’s own Rookwood pottery and over 40 pieces of Cincinnati carved furniture.
