Charles Lockwood is the Digital Librarian at Loyola Notre Dame Library in Baltimore, which serves two area colleges, the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and Loyola College of Maryland. Charles holds a master(s degree in library science from the Syracuse University School of Information Studies. In 2002, the Loyola Notre Dame library was one of the first academic libraries to go live with Endeavor's digital library federated search product, ENCompass, for resource access; Charles was a primary agent in this implementation. Prior to his current position, Charles worked as a public librarian. At the Pratt Library, he developed state-wide digitization guidelines for the Maryland State Library Resource Center.
