Kenning Arlitsch is the Head of Information Technology at the Marrriott
Library, University of Utah, and is the founder of the Utah Digital
Newspapers program and the Mountain West Digital Library. Born and raised
in New York, he earned a BA in English from Alfred University and a MLIS
from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 1997 he was one of 12
American librarians awarded international library fellowships from the
American Library Association and the U.S. Information Agency. He worked in
Cyprus for six months, teaching and helping to establish a consortium of
libraries. Kenning is also one of the leaders of the Western Waters Digital
Library.
