Paula Warn has worked with volunteers, museum visitors and tour scheduling systems for fifteen years. An artist and supporter of the arts, Paula graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with her BFA in painting and drawing and a minor in Art History. For eight years she coordinated tours and assisted the Director of Education at the Milwaukee Public Museum. She helped transform the museumâs entirely manual scheduling system into a computer-assisted one. Ê For the past six years Paula has coordinated tours at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, balancing the needs and schedules of hundreds of volunteers and many thousands of museum visitors. Paula has put her creativity, experience and knowledge of the museumâs tour scheduling needs to work as a core team member in the development of the first phase of the Instituteâs Visitor Activity System project. She collaborated with the software developer and the Director of Information Systems to produce an efficient and unprecedented customized tour scheduling system.
