Stephanie Stebich serves as Assistant Director and head of the Programs and Events division at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts. She champions the use of technology to provide greater public access to the museum's collections and resources. She believes technology can enhance the museum's relationship to its audiences and can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of museum operations. Stephanie has worked at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts since 2001. Previously she was at the Cleveland Museum of Art for six years and the Brooklyn Museum for 2 years.

At the MIA, she serves on the Technology, Programs and Editorial Board teams. She co-chairs the Visitor Activity System project with John Bedard, Director of Information Services. Stephanie has presented papers on technology topics at conferences such as the American Association of Museums, College Art Association, Museums and the Web and the Minnesota Museum Association. She has also been involved with building a digital library of images from art museums resulting in the formation of AMICO (Art Museum Image Consortium).
