The Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin (HRC) advances the study of the arts and humanities by acquiring, preserving, and making accessible original cultural materials, from the archives of such famous figures as Norman Mailer, David Foster
Wallace, and David O. Selznick, to rare artifacts like the first photograph and a Gutenberg Bible. The HRC is a treasure trove of unique books, manuscripts, photography, film, art, and the performing arts. Join us as we take a behind-the-scenes peek at the HRC’s digitization facilities, as well as key items from its special collections.
